Alien Roundup

Where did the idea come from that we can't find and deport 12 million illegals?
My experience in law enforcement tells me this is not the case.

As a cop, I regularly came into contact with illegals. Sometimes as many as 10-15 in the course of a week.
Not every contact was in the course of making an arrest, but many were.
I lost count in a hurry of how many illegal immigrants I arrested or ticketed for traffic offenses/DUI.
This was in a rural Georgia county with a not particularly high concentration of illegals.

Now, when our agency tried to get INS to deport these people, they basically told us to call them back when we had a couple of busloads, and they might be interested.

Statistics show there are about 800,000 sworn law enforcement officers in America.
Over 700,000 of these are at the state and local level.

Based on my experience, I think it's safe to assume every state/local officer has at least one contact per month with an illegal. Simple math says that equals 8.4 million contacts in a year. That equals two thirds of our estimated illegal population!

The line that we can't find and deport these illegals is baloney!  We just don't have the will to do it.

Paris' money talked

She walks!  As expected, the fix is in.
It was just a question of what type of fix it would be.
LA justice.  Hey, you people elected that guy sheriff.

Only in Hawaii

Only in Hawaii would voters elect a transgender candidate to the state board of education!

Yep, we will now have someone who was born a male and chose to become a female calling the shots in our childrens' classrooms.

Kim Coco Iwamoto, a civil rights attorney, and the only "female" to graduate from Catholic, all male, St. Louis High was elected to Hawaii State Board of Education in Tuesday's general election.

What were the voters thinking??

Hirono endorsing Hogue?

Is Mazie Hirono trying to sabotage her own candidacy with those ridiculous fliers in Hawaii mailboxes?

If I were not voting for Republican Bob Hogue to begin with, I certainly would after being bombarded with these backfiring fliers. At first glance, I thought the flier had been mailed out by Hogue's campaign!

Surely Hawaii's first lady of Big Labor and Big Government can't believe that "exposing" Hogue's patriotism, support for our president and our military in a time of war will win votes for her.

Is Hirono's memory so short that she can't remember that the people of Hawaii voted to rid ourselves of her kind in the last governor's race? Her mail campaign is a reminder of why we did.

I'll bet the Hawaii voters aren't as forgetful as she on November 7th.
